Clear meaning of possession Clear meaning of possession

Hi Sir,

I have bought an apartment on loan in 2018 with possession in Mar-2019. However, they have not completed and made temporary arrangements for me to move in October-2019. Since then I am staying. But, my pending works were not completed until today. I have not registered until now. Once they complete my works then I will register the flat. I paid including for all the amenities. For the total of 26 lakhs I have paid them 2527500 by oct-2019 only. So, please confirm as I moved does it mean he has given me possession? Can I ask for compensation for delayed possession? And can I give legal notice and ask him to return my total amount with interest due to not completing the flat and amenities.

A.Hi,
By possession it means that you have been handed over the property and you can start living in it. However from your input, you can claim for compensation for the delayed work.
