If both the parents have passed away without making any will and they have three childrens (living) i.e Two sons and a daughter (married) Is the married daughter entitled equal share in the property or will she not be entitled at all as the property is situated at Union territory of Diu and as per the Portugese rules married daughters are not entitled to any share in father's property.

A.Hi,
Under Indian law, daughters are entitled to the same share as sons, when it comes to the partition of ancestral property.

A.Hi,
Daman and Diu is a Union Territory of India. Under Indian law, daughters and sons are both entitled to equal shares of their ancestral property.
