As Muslim law differs from the law applicable for people belonging to other religions
I buying a BBMP A khata property which is of Muslim owner and property in question is gifted by mother to son about 7-9 months back, what would be legal advice or is there any risk of buying the property,

You can go ahead with the sale without risk if all the documents are in order and upto date.

A.Hi,
There would be no risk so long as all the documents are in order. As it is a sale, the Transfer of Property Act would apply, not personal law.
