A land is in the name of my grandfather nearby my house, a person claims to be his property but he don't have any relevant document of the property.
How I can take peaceful legal possession on the mentioned property?

A.Hi,
Although there are a number of ways to take possession of property by deed, by adverse possession, by gift. The ownership already lies with your grandfather because you say it is in his name. Find out the relevant documents and establish legal ownership in the nearest court of law.

A.Hi,
There are a number of ways to take possession- by deed, by adverse possession, by gift. However, since the ownership of the property is in the name of your grandfather therefore it will be easy to give have possession of the property. You just need to find the relevant documents and establish that in a competent civil court.

A.Fist of all take the possession of that land and put a board on the property. After that get the land mutated in the name of the legal heirs ( whosoever ). Later on if required and any dispute arise then file a case for title suit or declaration suit.
