I want to know contents of petition filed against me for court notice received

My husband and I are fighting a divorce case. I reside in Bangalore. He is currently residing in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. He sent me a court notice from the family court. My lawyer mentioned that he has filed a case against me. To know the details of the petition filed against me, he said I need to get in touch with a lawyer from Rajahmundry. Is there any way I could get the details of the petition that he has filed against me.

You will have to engage a lawyer in Rajahmundry to fight the case, or alternatively get the case transferred to Bangalore.

Since the case is instituted in Rajahmundry, you have to either; a. fight the case there itself, or b. transfer the case to Bangalore. So, you will have to either engage a lawyer in Rajahmundry or get the case transfered

A.The notice was suppose to contain the petition that was filed by your husband. In case it is not there then you can apply to get the case transferred to your city and can easily have access to the case record at your convenience. Also any advocate in rajamundry having your signed vakalatnama can get the certified copy of the petition and then can send you at your address or even can make a put up and ask the court to direct the husband to supply copy of the petition to you.

A.case is filed in Rajahmundry so you have to fight case in Rajahmundry only not in Bangalore until you transfer the case to bangalore.
so either transfer the case or get lawyer in Rajahmundry.
