I am currently staying in a ground floor house with my brother and his family..we have no plans of extending the floors..so may i know how can we divide the ground floor house into two

It cannot be enjoyed by both of you. Better sell it away. Get a rented house or leased house and keep the remaining amount in FD and get sufficient interest to enjoy.
