Recently i made a agreement on house building with a contractor and he is not doing work now after taking 3 lakh rupess and he is do not want to back the money what can i do now help me

A.Hi,
You can file a police complaint for the offences of cheating and criminal breach of trust u/S 414 & 406 IPC. You may also consider a legal notice to the contractor also.

A.Hi,
Send the contractor a legal notice first through your lawyer for the recovery of your money. Also, consider filing a police complaint u/S 415 for cheating and u/S 406 for criminal breach of trust.

A.File a civil case to recover your money with huge compensation for breach of contract and simultaneously lodge a criminal complaint for cheating and fraud to teach him a lesson.

A.Are you the owner of the house that is to be built? If you are a consumer (as per the consumer protection act), you can approach the consumer forum, and based on deficiency of service; you can claim your refund.
If you are not a consumer, you can seek the assistance of an advocate in sending a legal notice, subsequently based on the reply from the contractor, and you can approach the civil court to recover the money.
