Hello Sir,
I would like to book a case against my brother in law,
Because he married to women without my sister knowledge,
We come to know this relationship is exit from 2 years due to this he lifts my sister from 2 yr,
We try many time to resolve this issue but after 10 days he left my sister while create any issue,
My brother in law stay in there home with that women and we come to know that she is pregnant now..
That women also not divorce with husband,
Please advice me

A.when you came to know of second marriage ?
now only or 2 years before ?

If now, then only you can file FIR for Bigamy.

A.Hi,
You can approach the police station and file a case of bigamy against the husband under Sec. 494 of IPC. You can also prefer to file a private complaint before the competent court against your husband if the police does not take the desired action. You can seek divorce alongwith maintenance and alimony from the husband.

A.Hi,
You can file a private complaint with the court against your husband under Sec. 494 of IPC. You can also file for divorce on the grounds of bigamy and claim for maintenance and alimony from the husband.

Your sister can lodge complaint for the offense under section 494IPC and get him arrested.

A.See your brother in law has committed a crime for which he can be booked under the Sections 494 and 495 of Indian Penal Codes.
Under Section 494 of IPC- Marrying again during the lifetime of husband or wife - your sister can lodge a complaint against him and for which he will sent to jail for 7 years.

Under Section 49- of IPC -Same offence with concealment of former marriage from person with whom subsequent marriage is contracted - If the other lady lodges a complaint against him stating the fact that he lied to her about his earlier marriage then he will be sent to jail for 10 years.
