My sister in law is giving a mental torture to the family claiming that she has the rights to own the entire property, need help as how to claim my property part as we are 3 siblings and does sister in law has the right to claim property.

A.Hi,
If your brother transfers his portion of the property to your sister-in-law, she is entitled to claim it. Your sister-in-law, on the other hand, has no independent claim to the property.

A.Sister in law means - Bhabhi right? Yes, she has the right is the property which devolves to her through her husband but that does not come to her directly and there is a procedure for that.

A.Hey,
If share of your brother is transferred by him to your sister-in-law then she can claim his share in the property. But your sister in law doesn't have any independent right in the property.

A.You can file a partition suit in respect of the property claiming your share. Your sister in law has the rights in the property share of her husband but not during his life time.
