A.Hi,
The 7/12 extract is issued by the Tehsildar or the applicable land authority. The 7/12 extract can be obtained by paying the official fee or utilising the Right to Information (RTI) Act. As a result, you can go to either authority to have your name removed from the procedure. You can get legal advice from any lawyer or contact the tehsildar on your own.
Thank you very much.

A.What is 7/12 extract? It is an extract from the land register which is maintained by the revenue department of the governments of Maharashtra and Gujarat and the extract gives information like survey number of the land, the name of the owner of the land and its cultivator, the area of the land, the type of cultivation - whether irrigated or rain fed, the crops planted in the last cultivating season, loan taken on land, any subsidy on the loan, any government scheme on the land etc. It also records loans extended to the land owner given by government agencies, including the purpose - such as loans or subsidies for buying seeds, pesticides or fertilizers, for which the loan was given, the loans could be given to the owner or the cultivator.
Getting 7/12 is paralegal work and can be done with with the assistance of a lawyer but you will have to speak to the lawyer first and find out whether he is willing to get this done or not.
