I am from kerala. I married a guy from punjab on September, 2020. He want divorce. We registered marriage in punjab not in kerala as he went abroad. How to proceed?

A.If both of you want divorce then you can file Divorce on mutual consent to the Ld. Court. If your husband is not present in India or not wiling to come then you can seek permission of the Ld. Court for online proceedings, if ld court permits then you can get the divorce on mutual consent through online hearing.

A.Hi,
You can seek for mutual divorce or divorce of any of the grounds which are mentioned in the hindu marriage act or special marriage act or mohammaden law. You can also seek for restitution of conjugal rights.
