Hi sir/madam
I bought my mother house I registered last month am married my parents are der .now my brother nd his wife telling how can u buy our property dey r threatening me am married nd got divorce 2018
A.Dear Sir,
There are recitals in the Sale Deed that you legally purchased the property and there is no bar to purchase the property belonging to your mother. Your brother cannot do anything even if he approach Civil Court.

A.It is necessary to scrutinize your registered Purchase Deed. If the property was in your mother's name then even when she inherited it from her parents,that property cannot be considered as ancestral . Therefore,your mother has right to sell her self acquired property to you in registered manner and your brother and his wife have no right to raise the objection legally.

A.Dear Sir/Madam,
You have to prove that the transfer of property was out of consent and not a forceful move from your side. If the property is self-acquired property then they can claim their rights over it.

If your brother and his wife are unhappy about the decision you will have to prove that the transfer was out of consent and there was no force. Besides if it is not a self-acquired property then he will definitely be entitled to his share in it. however, it would be helpful if you could elaborate on the nature of the threat for further course of action.
