How to have a family settlement of father's self owned property.
My father has a self owned property. We want to do some family settlement that the property would be transferred to me on my marriage, till that it can't be sold by my father. This settlement should automatically allow the transfer of property to me after my marriage. Let me know by which way is it possible?

A.Hi,
Your father can make an agreement putting that condition. But that does not mean he can't transfer his property but you can sue him for the breach of contract if he transfers the property to someone.

A.Hi,
You can make him sign such an agreement stating he will transfer his property to you when you get married. But that does not mean he can't sell his property before that but in case if he sells the property to someone, you can sue him for the breach.
