Partition deed Partition deed

Respected Sir/Madam,

My grandparents had done a partition deed of our agricultural lands and divided it among my mother and her 3 brothers.

The partition deed has been registered on 1965 in the sub-registrar office. After that neither my mother nor her brother has done anything to change the property to their respective name and the RTC still has my grandmother's and great grandmother's name in it as owners. The land is situated in Karnataka.

Please suggest steps on how my Mother can get her partitioned property registered in her Name in the revenue records.

Thank You.

A.If the partition is already done then basis that partition deed you mother can apply for mutation with the local body or the land revenue department. Once the mutation is done then she can pay the property tax in her name.
