How can a woman get her right in her maternal property if her parents and brother die It has happened that the sister-in-law is not giving rights in the property, while her name is not there, only the names of the woman's parents and brother are there.

A.Dear Client,
Under Hindu Succession Act, the property will pass to the in order of preference given below:
a) Firstly to sons and daughters, including children of any pre-deceased son or daughter, and the husband;
b) Next, to the heirs of the husband;
c) Then, to the mother and father;
d) Next, to the heirs of father; and
e) Finally, to the heirs of mother.

A.To give opinion, it is necessary to know whether the property was purchased in the name of parents and their son or any inheritance factor is associated with it as per Hindu Law of Succession. It is also necessary to know the years of death of each of them because until and unless relevant facts be given, proper legal opinion cannot be given.
