Is divorce in Singapore valid in India if couple got married in India only. And can anyone leave the processing inbetween in Singapore and file a new case against the partner in India, will that be taken in count.
A.Dear Client
If the marriage was done in India as per the Indian law then divorce in Singapore or any other country will not be considered as valid divorce as per the Indian law and in India. The couple will have to get divorced as per the Indian law by filing a case in a court in India and then only it will be considered as legally divorced.

A.Dear Client,
The Divorce obtained through due process in Foreign Courts is valid in India. No need to worry. Use the Singapore Divorce Decree wherever you need to use the same in India . You can use it abroad also if you need to.
Thankyou
