A.Dear Client
Rules say that if one of the parents dies while in service or after retirement, the family pension in respect of the deceased becomes payable to the surviving husband or wife and in the event of the death of the husband or wife, the surviving child or children can be granted the two family pensions.
Thanks
Regards

A.It is necessary for you to request your father to insert your name as dependent daughter as well as Nominee in the Government Record because as the retired employee it is necessary on your father's part so that after his death, his dependent person or persons will get that family pension.

A.Dear Client
I think even a divorcee daughter can be considered as dependent on the family and she can be eligible for the family pension but be advised that the family pension is given only after the death of the original pensioner.
