Divorce case - separated frm 6 yrs

Im married and separated frm 6 yrs..marriage was only for 90 days. One lawyer advised.to file for domestic violence case and later refer.to mediation in court and.get mutual divorce. Please advise how can i go about it. I need divorce and compensation both...im suffering

A.Madam you kindly file a contested divorce case against your husband along with a case for maintenance so that you can get financial support from your husband every month though you get the decree of divorce, you will be entitled for such maintenance after that also. Until you again get married or you have any source of income. After getting the final decree of divorce then you may file a case for alimony separately claiming for compensation.
