Younger sister not interested in selling or maintaining inherited property Younger sister not interested in selling or maintaining inherited property

Me & my younger sister inherited a 2BHK flat in Virar after the death of my mother. The flat is currently unoccupied & I want to sell it of as we are incurring unwanted expenses in maintaining that flat. My sister is not taking any interest to either sell the flat nor is she ready to share the monthly maintenance / incidental electricity / repair expenses of the flat. She is not answering my calls and has also stopped responding to our relatives. Please let me know how can this issue be resolved legally

A.In my humble suggestion, in order to sell the property, a legal notice can be sent to your sister. If she does not respond to it or respond in a negative manner, the Court can be approached to get authorization to appropriate, or sell your share.

A.Dear Sir,

Get issue a legal notice about your intention to sell the property. If no response received or negative response is received then approach the court for appropriating i.e., seeking permission to sell your share.
