I am 43. Recently married to a 45 year old man. Within couple of months, he admitted he deosnt wnt to have sex and he is not comfortable. And a few other issues also came up so we have been living separately for 5 months. I want to go ahead with IVF with donor sperm but clinics do not allow without his consent.
He wont consent. Divorce now will take a long time. Since I am 43, I want to start off IVF now. Can I do get IVF without getting blackmailed by him?

A.Dear Client

As per the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 2008 (HFEA 2008), there is no requirement for women who is legally married to take her partner consent before undergoing IVF.

what if the husband does not consent to the sperm deposit? We are already not together since 6 months.
I am planning to start ivf this month. I am just worried that I cannot go for sperm donor since he wont consent.
He might not deposit sperm either because we are already living separately
