My neighbour has kept his AC pipe outside. Due to which the water keeps on falling on my AC duct whenever they switch on the AC. I asked them to keep it inside and they did. But later on don't know what happened. They put it put and said u manage. The water keeeps on falling at one place on my Ac duct which may cause rusting and can damage it. It may cause accident also. I stays at 3rd floor and neighbour is at 5th floor. He is at the top floor. He has kept his Duct on roof. He is asking us to remove our duct from that place. How it that possible. every family in flat is keeping duct at the same place. When water falls the water sprinkles on my washing machine which is there in my utility area.

A.Dear Client, if you live in a housing society or apartment complex, there may be rules and regulations in place regarding the installation of external AC units, pipes, or other structures. Review these rules to see if your neighbour is in violation of any of them. If there are rules in place that your neighbour is violating, contact the housing society's committee or management to inform them of the situation. They may be able to mediate the issue and enforce the existing rules. If the issue persists and your neighbour refuses to cooperate, you may need to file a formal complaint with the housing society, apartment association, or municipal authorities, depending on the local regulations in your area. If the issue remains unresolved, you may consider pursuing legal action.
