Hello dear respected Lawyers, my question is about to grant land for freedom fighters lost there land in the name of tenant act .

My Grand Father is an Freedom Fighter and Some one acquired the grant land belongings to my grandfather , but he left the land as per as tenant act without any obligations . But now my question is I don't know the survey number of the land or I don't have any grant documents regards . But as per Government rules grant land can't be register or registered between the mentioned time guidelines. But my grandfather is died now he is no more.

So my question is can I request for district collector to grant a new land for agricultural purpose as per freedom fighters Guidelines act.

If there is a chance of getting land please mention the format how to write a request letter for Collector

Thank you

A.Dear Client,
To represent your grievance suitably before any authority you need to collect the records of land from the office block land reform office or office of the Tehashildar. Until and unless you trace out the records of land, you may not be able to establish your claim before any authority. So, on searching of land records if it is available, then you can make an application to the District Collector for a resolution in the matter. You can also contact and represent your grievance to the Ministry of Home which deals the matters related to freedom fighters at the link https://www.mha.gov.in
