Flat maintenance receipt issue Flat maintenance receipt issue

I had purchased flat from seller and paid all flat related amount to seller. He left room after that building team told me that he did not paid maintenance amount from 11 months. Building team is asking due amount from me. Im paying continuously maintenance amount from when i take-over the flat but they are giving me old month (due amounts and month) receipt. I denied to accept then also they are giving me old receipt. The main thing is the society is not registered nor having registered body. Building members have make their own body for building operation.

A.Dear Client,
The seller is liable to pay maintenance for the period till the time he surrenders the possession of the flat to the Purchaser post-sale. In the absence of a registered society, a building team comprising flat owners looks after the maintenance. of the buildings. So, in the given situation, you need to serve a legal notice to the Builder asking him to pay the dues till the period the falt was under his possession to the society failing which you have to file a suit for specific performance against the builder before the Civil Court for the appropriate relief in the matter. Reach out to an Advocate for guidance and steps.
