There is concrete water tank built by my grandfather which is mentioned in the Will by him for allowing it to use by my 3 uncle's including my father, but the tank was unused for long time and now the trees has been grown in the tank and the concrete of the tank is 70% damaged. In this case can my father take the decision to demolish the tank and use that space for other purpose? And what kind of paperwork should be done to demolish the concrete tank?

A.Dear Client,

In this situation, the approval of all legal heirs is required to proceed with the demolition of the existing water tank. Your father should be authorized by the legal heirs to address the matter with the relevant civic authority or Municipal Corporation, seeking permission for the demolition of the rooftop water tank and the subsequent utilization of the space for alternative purposes.

A.Dear Client,
In the given circumstances, all the legal heirs have to give their consent for the demolition of the old water tank and authorize your father to take up the matter with the concerned civic authority, Municipal Corporation to obtain permission for the demolition of the rooftop water tank and for use of that place for other purposes.
