A.Dear Client,

The disposition of a divorce case indicates that the case has been settled or concluded, typically in favor of the plaintiff or petitioner, following contested proceedings by the involved parties. However, it's important to note that a disposed case can potentially be reopened if any party expresses dissatisfaction with the judgment or order.

Reopening a case may occur in instances of mistakes, unintentional surprises, or the discovery of new evidence that could significantly impact the judgment. In such situations, relief can be granted, leading to the reopening of the case for further proceedings. This allows the legal process to address and rectify any errors, unexpected developments, or newly presented evidence that may influence the outcome of the divorce case.

A.Dear Client,
That kind of order disposing of a divorce case means the case is disposed of on contest by the parties in favour of the plaintiff or petitioner. However, a disposed of case may be reopened if a party to a case is not satisfied with the judgment/order. In case there is a mistake or unintentional surprise, relief can be granted that will effectively reopen the case for further proceedings. Further, if new evidence is discovered that can alter the judgment then a case may be reopened.
