What to be done if denied of any share in property

My grandmother died when my father was 2 yrs of age, grandfather again got married and have 4 children from his second marriage. He never cared about my father, left my parents with smallest piece of land. Is there any provisions to claim equal share in property. What can be done further?

A.Dear Client,
If your grandfather is alive and the property is his self acquired then your father has got no right to claim such. If the property that is in possession of your grandfather is an ancestral property then your father can claim his share from it.
