I'm staying at a place from 24+ year's but it's not my won land. I don't have any Patta for this land. Recently I heard that someone take this land in leased before 40+ year and he is no more now. I want to make this land for myself. Can anyone tell me what's the procedure regarding this land...??

A.U will need to file adverse possession suit for it . Or send legal notice through lawyer to the real owner. Before it go to the nearest registration office and made application for certified copy of concern properties.

A.Sir,
You can go to the Sub - Registrars office and fill in a query form with a nominal charge to know as to who the original owner of the land is.
Thereafter you can contact him or her and ask them to sell the land to you so that you become the owner.
However, it is a well established rule of law that,
if any person has been in possession of a piece of land without any disturbance for a prolonged period of 12+ years in hostile against the title of the true owner, openly, publicly and continuously for such period then he is called the adverse possessor of that property and as such has the same rights as that of the owner.
So in this case sir, no one can remove you.
Thanks
