Remarrying despite not being divorced

My sister got married recently with an adult who was already married ,before marrying boy convinced to girl that he is ready to divorce his wife and she thought he did that then they both got married now from some sources we come to know that he did not divorced his previous wife ..his previous wife is very poor so they can't afford to file a case so she is relying on us to do something. There is something outrageous that they both showed in police station after getting married in front of my family but police did not try to know whether he is divorcee or not and unfortunately we couldn't try and police allowed them to go...now if I file a case against boy what could be possiblity to happen something they he can be sentenced to jail for long time because he betrayed two female(my sister and his wife)
First of all if he is not divorced from his wife then the marriage with you sister is not valid and its fradulent
So you should lodge a FIR against him

If girl is ready to live with him despite knowing that he is not divorcee ..do our laws give permission to them live together or what if we file case against boy but girl is willing to save him ...we are in big trouble ...
