A. Hi,
In every company, there is certain decorum to be maintained. Usually the HR handles such problems of obscene situations in the office. B can report this incident to the HR and the board of directors about such threats. However, if A wishes to pursue this case legally, B would be liable since he has physically caused hurt to A. B can find remedy by proving his stand with adequate proof.

Dear All My wife has given property NOC to her mother name after the death of her father in Feb 2020, My wife has given NOC for both Self acquired as well as paternal property. Before the death of my f

A. Hi,
The NOC is not of importance since it was issued by your wife only for the transfer of property from her father's name to her mother's name. Now since the mother has absolute rights over the property, it is her decision on whom she would transfer the property. Making the son a nominee would merely mean that he is the custodian of the assets. He is not a legal owner but an individual who is legally bound to transfer the assets to the legal heirs. Thus, unless the mother transfers the property ...ReadMore

A. Hi,
1) An unconditional gift deed cannot be revoked by the donor. It can only be cancelled by the court in cases where it s found that there was fraud or undue influence.
2) Since he is trying to file a case under the senior citizenship act, you would be issued a summons by the court to appear in front of them. During that time, you can produce all the relevant facts and proof to prove your case that the gift deed was issued in favour of the adopted daughter without any fraud or undue influence ...ReadMore

Sir/madam, since 2012 me, younger brother and mother collateral applied housing loan. Till now I m paying 50% share. Now brother and mother trying to evict me and my family from home. I m ready to evi

A. Hello Sir
You could file a suit against your mother and brother in order recover the money you have paid, also in case they deny then you could ask for your share in the property and get seperated. As you have paid for the loan that means the property is partially in your name, you could transfer your share in the property back to them and get your money back or you could claim your share in the property.

A. Hi,
There is no hard and fast rule that mentions the type of paper or any other specifications on which a will must be registered. As long as all the valid essentials to constitute a will are present, then such a will is valid. The matter of fact referring to the will being on a plain paper does not play any role and such a will is valid, legal and enforceable.

HOUSE OWNER ASKING 6 RUPEES FOR UNIT, I CAN COMPLAINT HOUSE OWNER IT IS LEGAL TO ASK. WHERE TO COMPLAIN IF IT IS ILLEGAL I HAVE ONLY PHOTO WHICH WRITTEN BY HIM. WHAT TO DO SIR

A. Hi,
Firstly, it is not illegal to quote a higher price. If such a clause is mentioned in the rental agreement signed between the two of you, then you are legally bound to pay that amount of money per unit. However, you may try and negotiate with him and solve this amicably if such a clause is not mentioned in the agreement. Moreover, the landlord cannot terminate your contract on this basis.

A. Hello Sir
It would be advised to to contact a good lawyer in your city to fight your case. You have made the payment via black money, which is illegal in India. Although you must contact a lawyer and show him with all the documents and payment receipts and how much you have paid via cash to help you better with the case.

A. HI,
You have to look into the legal standing of the property at hand and then go ahead with construction. If there are legal encumbrances then the parties may file injunction suits to which you have to represent yourself in the court of law. You can seek to take permission from the Nagar Nigam before construction as they will be in a better position to state the legal standpoint of the property.
Thank you.

icon I was caught drinking in a standby car in my colony.

I was speaking on phone while being caught. Was not drinking at that time but the cops took pictures of the half filled glass in the car. They took me to a hospital for a med test but no BAC or blood

A. Hi,
Generally, the confession made in police custody is not admissible in court of law. If you drink at any public place or drive after that, it will amount to an offense. You can contact a lawyer for further advice.
