A. Hi,
The police clearance certificate can be issued for any person. If anyone has a record of arrest, conviction and criminal proceedings, it will reflect it. In your case, it is a conviction so the certificate will show a conviction record.

They cannot file a complaint unless they have proof that your wife committed an offence.
Making false claims is punishable under S.209 IPC.

A. Fir can be quashed only be quashed by the respective court/high court only. You have to approach the respective court and follow the procedure through an advocate.
