As per my agreement the possession date is Nov 2020 but due to covid it was delayed. But as per mail from the builder customer care sent on 28th Jan, the possession will be tentatively on March 2021.

You can claim significant damages from the builder for delay in delivering possession. The rate of this penalty should be provided in your purchase agreement.

A. Hi,
You can file a suit claiming huge damages for breach of contract. You can also file a claim in consumer Court.
A money recovery suit can be filed to reclaim the money you have already paid them.

A. Hi,
According to the Indian law, a buyer can file a case and send legal notice to the builder for delay in possession under the RERA Act, 2016 or transfer their case from a CDRC to the State Real Estate Regulatory Authority.
You can serve him a legal notice for the same.
Since, according to this Act, a builder will have to pay 10% interest on the value of the property for delayed possession of flats. Therefore, you can also file for the claim of damages.

In such a situation one needs to give notification in news paper about it so that if anyone have objection or if there is any will exists under someone else name he/she can object to this process. One need to wait for 15 days from the date of notification published. If no one has object then legal heirs can present required certificate to get the property registered under their name.
