It's a matter of my mother and so called father
3 years ago
7years back,my father use to go and stay out for 2-5days or even more, and whenever he use to come back, scream at me and my mother's. It's been 5years my grandfather passed away and he has a property where in we are living. As before my mother use to earn and we use to live on rental basis. As soon as my grandfather passed, father put his name on the will somehow and he took this property on his name. Since 7 years we don't talk to each other. As my mother being a single mom she raised me all these years. Now we stay together just because rn I and mother don't have an option to rent a house as rn she is not earning and I am studying tho I not minor anymore.
We are dealing with his harrasment, every another day he abuses me my mom. Some of the days he doesn't stay at home. He get vanished for 3-5-10days.
Although when the pandemic had hit,he was not home for months. He is mentally irritating and torchuring us by doing some or the other thing. He made many false alligation blaming us and made us show in the wrong picture. He says he won't give us a penny... As mom has asked to compensate. He abused to the worst. I don't think any,I repeat any father can ever talk to daughter like he is doing rn with us. We are helpless as he already had done 2 NC in the name of my mom both false NC.
What can be done. Anyone who can help and suggest.
With regards to any of the property that your father inherited from his ancestors, you and your mother would be qualified as class I legal heirs and by virtue of law whether your grandfather died without having a will made, you both would get an equal partition in the ancestral estate.

However you can challenge the will and go ahead

As understood from the information provided by you, if the situation is out of control and is very severe, then then the first and the best recourse would be to find an applicable solution by involving senior family members from both the ends that is from the side of your mother and the side of your father. if this amicable solution does not work, then divorce petition can be filed by your mother and file for maintenance under section 125 C.r.P.C. this would help you in preventing harassment to your mother and you and would also give you inability to sustain your livelihood through monetary compensation.
