Patta illegally Transferred Patta illegally Transferred

Hello,

This is regarding an ancestral property belonging to my grandfather in TN. My grandfather had 3 sons out of which 1 has expired. My grandfather has not left behind any will. We recently came to know that the expired man's son has illegaly transferred the patta of the agricultural land to his father's name without discussion or approval from other parties involved. When questioned he is not ready to let go of it.
Could you please let me know how we can proceed with this?
