The builder sold me a floor at 4th floor which is illegal The builder sold me a floor at 4th floor which is illegal

The builder sold me a flat at fourth floor and there is a 1bhk already constructed in parking. And due to this I am facing problems in getting electricity connection even after I had proper registry of the floor.
The builder is not helping us in anyway and saying that this is not our problem. We are stuck as we have invested our lifetime savings in this flat and not getting the electricity connection

A.flat is not chocolate or agarbatti that builder came to your house and sold it to you in 2 minutes for 10-20 rupees.

You had ample time to make checks and inquiries as you had to make payment of your lifetime savings.
Nobody told you that 4th floor is usually illegal.
maybe you not told any of your friends and relatives of your purchase.
you not took loan also.
you not approached lawyer to verify property papers.

Now you need solution. Be ready for long fight.
check with local lawyer if it comes under RERA (mostly it will not)
so you have to go to consumer court.

A.Dear Sir,
You may initiate civil and criminal action against him since he has sold a property which is constructed by violating the building rules. You can get back your entire amount along with compensation etc.

A.File a case against the builder either in RERA court or consumer forum and thus you will be able to force the builder to either provide you what you need or will pay the price of the flat plus compensation for all this.

A.Hello
It would be suggested to file a complaint against the builder under the RERA act which is especially made to protect the rights of the owners and get justice against bad action of the builders.
Thanks
