Blackmailing

Sir,
I had been married for almost 8yrs and have no kids till now . I'n the initial years of marriage everything was nearly OK between me and my wife and we planned for baby after 3yrs of marriage but she did not conceived. I had some female friends initially with whom she caught me chatting on social media but everything was cooled down. My wife's behavior toward my parents was never good as she showed arrogant behavoiur due which we have man handling between us. When I was in Rajasthan I met my school friend who was also female and due to my wife's behavior I discussed everything with her as I was very tensed . I started talking to my female friend on business terms which I told my wife but she did not believe me . The relation between me and my wife got worse as I was having conversation with the friend but my intention was not bad. When I came to Delhi , on the request of my wife I maintained some distance from my friend but my wife didn't believed me . when my parents came to stay with me my wife had a rude nature and she started fighting with me and even manhandling . One fine day the fight was so enormous that my parents left my house and my wife called her father to resolve the issue . My wife had a doubt that I have a affair and she got some chats from WhatsApp which were of friendly nature only . she started blacmailing me that I had a affair but I had a true friendship nature which I told my wife ealeir . Meanwhile as I was staying in my father in law house I changed my house on rent but my wife did not shifted with me since Nov 2020. Since then we do have any sexual relationship but my wife is coming in house for providing me food and daily needs things . She is now continuously blackmailing me for having a child also with my friend and saying that she will call her husband for my relationship . I always urged her not to do same . She is my real good friend thats why I do not want to be in such situation . my wife is showing me chats of Wat's app with my friend and contiously blackmailing me . my wife is also not ready to visit my parents home as she said we asked for dowry and will torture her .pls suggest me
There is nothing we could legally help you with in this problem. Although if you want you could file for a divorce. But it would be suggested to contact a marriage counselor and sort your issues out with the help of him amicably, to avoid further complications and save your marriage.

It would be advised to sort this issue amicably. It would be worse for you if your wife filed a case for domestic violence and dowry even a false one. You could consult a counselor and sort your issues out by talking and agreeing on mutual terms.
