Child custody and maintenance

Hello If I apply the Divorce ,what all I need to do for child custody and getting maintenance from husband. Like I need maintenance only for my child.
What if he deny to pay any maintenance. And if a child is 3 years old. Will I(mother) get the custody?

As per the law mother is the natural guardian and till 5 years of age a child cannot be taken away from the mother unless there are exceptional conditions. Yes, you can ask for maintenance for your child as well as for yourself.
