Legal advice for a divorce - planning to go abroad
1 year ago
I'm planning to go abroad. Me and my husband are not in good terms. If at all he sends a notice, how do I deal with it. Should I travel to India if i am called for?
A.Dear client,
If you also feel that you guys should be divorced, then you can file for Mutual Consent Divorce and send notice to him if he and the court will give exparte order of divorce even if you are not hearing the matter in court. Or you can seek recourse in the foreign court just like other citizens of that country.

A.Dear Madam,
You may not come over to India. Just execute power of attorney in favour of any one of your relative or friend in India and ask him/her to appear before Court and protest in respect of proposed divorce by your husband. If necessary your evidence will be recorded online.
