Can I file a caveat in high court for a civil case decided by session court in my favour(defendent) concerning a property? Further, I would like to know whether taking a Caveat will protect me from the other party seeking Stay for the property in question and then I have to wait till the first hearing, (that could be 3-6 months later) to respond? As I get to know that if I take a Caveat, before granting a Stay to the other party, I will get a hearing chance from High court?
