I send online money to a reputed builder for booking a flat in an under construction building. Later came to know that a number of things said by sales perso doesnot exists. I want refund of my money. However they sharwd a document/pamphalet mentioning the amount is non refundable.


Is it possie to get the money back?

A.Dear Sir,
They cannot refuse to refund entire amount as they have not disclosed exact terms. They may deduct it 10% amount from your advance towards administrative expenses and refund the remaining.

A.Dear Client

If the builder has made false promises or misrepresented the property, the buyer may be entitled to a refund even if the agreement mentions that the amount is non-refundable. The buyer can send a legal notice to the builder, requesting a refund and citing the misrepresentation. If the builder does not respond or refuses to refund, the buyer can approach the consumer court to file a complaint against the builder. Please seek an expert advice over this matter.
