A.Hi,

If she is not agreeing for mutual divorce, ask him to discuss with a lawyer around him and find some solid grounds for divorce.

A.Hello dear

Please understand that the matrimonial issues are complex issues as they deal with lots of sentiments and emotions of the parties involved as also of their respective family members and therefore taking a sensible decision is more important.

In your case, your boyfriend who could not even resist his forced marriage to a girl, now looks like, has gathered courage to get married to you but at the cost of spoiling the life of his existing wife.

Your boyfriend can seek divorce before court of law on the grounds available under law which primarily include cruelty etc.. Law would apply depending on what is the religion of parties involved. A proper legal notice will have to be first issued by your boyfriend to his wife stating teherni teh grounds of divorce and accordingly, if amicable settlement is not arrived at, petition for divorce will have to be filed before appropriate court fo law, mostly Family Court if you are staying at a district place. However, before moving ahead with filing of divorce petition, it will have to be meticulously seen as to what grounds of divorce exist, if at all.

For moving ahead with your case, you may contact Vidhikarya who shall provide my contact details to you and thereafter needful can be done in your case.
