Can my wife put some caveat or some other case over my property (house in my mothers name) during divorce proceedings. If I sell this property will there be any legal problem for me.

A.Hi,
Since your mother is the owner of the property, she can sell the property whenever she wishes to. She has rights over the property. You personally cannot sell it since the property is not in your name. Your wife cannot interfere.

A.Hi,
If it's her matrimonial home, she can definitely get an order passed for living in that house. If the house is your mother's name, your mother has all the rights over it. She can decide to sell the property whenever she wishes to. Your wife cannot interfere in the house matters owned by your mother.

A.If property is in your mother's name how can3u b able to sell it? However if your mother intends to sell it off there should not be any impediment as far as it is otherwise legally saleable. For further elaboration plz contact through Vidhikarya. Regards
