I am a sunni muslim man and I want to divorce my wife but since the triple talaaq law is in force, how can I divorce in this situation.

A.Hi,
Triple Talaq or Talaq Biddat is not longer legal and cannot be used as a way to get divorce from your wife. However, the other two forms of Talaq under Muslim Law are still very much valid given that you follow the conditions attached to it.
There are two forms of Talaq i.e. Talaq-Hasan and Talaq-Ahsan. Talaq hasan where you give talaq thrice after intervals of period of 'tuhr'. This form is still valid.
However, it must be noted that any talaq shall be preceded by an attempt at conciliation with people from both the parties to the marriage.
