I would like to know approximately how much alimony judge decides to pay to my wife. She stayed with me for 2months and unconsumated. She is 24 years and iam 34 years. She is earning around 5000 and im earning around 60k.I got married on dec 2020.I filed divorce against my wife for cruelty with chats as proof. She used to chat with her boyfriend and sometimes used to meet him personally.I would like to know whether approximately how much alimony should i give as per law and judge?can it be below 3lakhs?

A.Dear Client
Adultery, extra-marital affair and cruelty is a clear ground for divorce. However, in such case you won't be asked to pay any kind of alimony to her. As, she is a salaried woman, you need not to pay her any maintenance.

A.If you have sufficient proof of her wrongdoings then you will get the decree of of divorce in your favour only hence then you may not be needed to give any alimony to your wife since due to her wrongdoings only you took divorce. Since she is also an earning woman therefore you need not to give any maintenance also to your wife.
