Cheating - in a relationship with my friend

I was in a relationship with my friend whose family is living in different state n he is living alone here and after 1.5 years of relationship he got married to his family choice. We belongs to different states and caste. After few days of marriage he came back to me that it was a forceful marriage and he can not stay with his wife. I denied several times but he kept contacting me from different numbers saying that he will divorce his wife and i believed him after a month. We continued the relationship and i informed my family after 2 years. Now its been 5.5 years and he haven't divorced his wife. Few days ago my parents went to his home without telling him and they came to know that his baby born few months ago. I had no idea that he ever lived with his wife. He told me that his wife lives on her mayka. Can i file any case against him?
You can reach out to the police and lodge a complaint against him under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code. What he has done is not right and you can take him to the court for the wrongdoings.
The false promise of marriage for obtaining consent for sexual intercourse is considered as ‘misconception of fact’ within the meaning of Section 90 of Indian Penal Code, 1860. Thus, it is not considered as a valid consent in the eyes of the law.
You can file criminal case and it is common sense that when ever such cheating is done you should have lodged complaint with police and booked not only cheating case but also other cases.
