Revoke marriage affidavit
How can a marriage be cancelled in case the marriage certificate is not made and we only have an affidavit?
A.Dear Client
If the marriage certificate is not made, the marriage can be cancelled by filing for a declaration of nullity or annulment in court. As only an affidavit was made and no marriage certificate was issued may be taken into consideration during the legal proceedings, but it is not necessarily determinative of the validity of the marriage. Please seek an expert legal advice over this matter.
