A.Dear Client,

Divorces generally fall into two main categories: Contested and Mutual.

1. Mutual Divorce:
- If both parties are willing to divorce, they can opt for a mutual divorce.
- The process usually takes a minimum of 6 months from the day of filing the divorce petition.

2. Contested Divorce:
- If one or both parties are not willing to divorce, a contested divorce can be pursued.
- Contested divorces may take a longer period, and it often involves presenting valid evidence to support the case.

If the marriage period is less than 1 year and there are specific grounds, nullity of marriage can be pursued.

Given the circumstances, it is advisable for your brother to consult with a divorce lawyer promptly. Legal professionals can provide guidance on the appropriate course of action based on the specifics of the case and the applicable laws. It's essential to gather all relevant information and documents related to the marriage for the lawyer's assessment.

A.Dear client,
Divorces are mainly of two categories-
Contested or Mutual
If both the parties are mutually ready for a divorce you can opt for the same.
It would take a period of 6 months right from the day of filing.
If either of the parties are not ready for divorce then you can opt for contested divorce. This might take a longer period of time and involve certain efforts of valid evidences.

If the marriage period is lesser than 1 year , nullity of marriage can be lodged.
Ask your brother to consult a divorce lawyer immediately.
