Wife confessed of Affair

My wife was having an affair for 3 years and I was having a suspicion but it was not confirmed. 6 Months back she confessed of affair in an email to me. My question is - can that email be used to prove adultery on her part? She has deleted the email from her side but its there in my email. She denies sending that email and says her account was hacked. Other than this email I have no proof of her ongoing adultery. We live separately in different cities now.
A.Now electronic mails are standard proofs and having admissible value.
