In PSU Engineering wing, SE rank officer created whatsapp group added all the executives under his control. Insisting to stay in the grp, if anyone left the group action will be taken. Is he correct.

A. Hi,
While social media does constitute valid evidence in Court, it is highly unlikely that leaving a work related WhatsApp group will have major consequences, unless it was specifically mentioned in your employment contract. However, he may begin targeting you in other ways if you go against his instructions.
