I am a Btech graduate. Me and my husband separated, its just become one month. We are blessed with a baby girl, she is two year old. I have got many job vacancies but now my husband is blackmailing me that not go for a job i have to lookafter my child otherwise it will go worst. So i want to know that is there is any legal chance to overcome this?

A.Dear Madam,
You can file DV case and get protection order from the Court by which he can be restrain from blocking you to join the job.

A.If you can manage it well then your husband can't interfere or force u not to work. However terms of your separation would have to be referred for clear n concise advice.

A.what you done for getting blackmailed ?
what you want ? divorce or not ?
what worst when already separated.
you should do job else you will be dependent on him and his whims.
there is no legal permission is required for job permission.

A.Hi,
Your husband has no right to force you from taking up a job. If you have applied for a divorce then this action from your husband makes a ground for incompatibility, mental cruelty and also threat to your well-being. If you feel there is a physical threat on you then you can file a complaint against him to the police.

A.Hi,
As per your input it seems that you have been living separately from your husband. Legally your husband cannot stop you from taking a job citing child care. Moreover, if you are opting for a separation or divorce this threat from your husband can be a ground for divorce.
