Dear Client
The employer cannot fire you while you are pregnant and due for maternity leave as that would be illegal.

How to extend of Maternity Leave?
Hi client,
As per the new Maternity (Amendment) Bill 2017, the period of leave has been extended to 26 weeks. You need to ensure such leaves from your HR team.
If this maternity period is over, you can file an application along with your medical certificate.
The Maternity (Amendment) Bill 2017 brought a lot of necessary amendments in the Act, there shouldn't be any problem in receiving or extending the leave.
Thanks and Regards
Simi Paul
Do employee get only the basic salary or a full salary (similar to monthly in-hand salary) during maternity leave even if the employee has completed more than 1 year with the organization.

Dear client,
It has been held in many cases that maternity benefits cannot be restricted based on the number of children. If your sister has taken the benefits during first 2 pregnancies, then she is definitely eligible for it this time as well.
My salary include Basic, HRA and Other Allowance, how much salary would I get on maternity leave. And what if employer denies to give paid maternity leave.
Dear Sir,
You have to go to an expert in the above matter preferably an Auditor or Chartered Accountant who will let you know accordingly or you may go to HR of any other company.

In my humble suggestion, it is possible for you to take the extended three months leave without being paid for the said period. In case the employer does not agree and terminates you, the Labour Commission can be approached in order to resolve the issue.
